What began as Ryan’s fifth-grade science project has evolved into a wildfire detection system designed to identify fires at ignition. SensoRy AI’s solar-powered sensors monitor heat, smoke, flame, and plume activity, while ChatGPT helps translate live sensor data into understandable alerts and answers for firefighters and emergency officials.

The OpenAI feature highlights how Ryan is using AI to help responders quickly understand where a potential fire is located, how it may spread, and what actions may be needed.

The technology is already being tested in real-world environments, demonstrating how AI and intelligent sensor networks can support faster wildfire detection and response.
